Use the appropriate length of wood which is the length of the window at least 4 inches and hold it at a right angle to a 24 inch piece of wood. Dry fit the frame and slide the canvas over the top. When dry few minutes slide the canvas back over the frame. Add the mounting elbows shown in the last pic but do not glue these yet. Adjust the fittings to make sure the canvas is taut. Step 2 cut two pieces of 1 inch pvc pipe to the length determined in step 1 with a pair of pvc cutters.

Repeat on the other end of the long wood pole. Then hook one key ring on one of the hooks and then do the same for the second key ring with the other hook. On the side of the awning that s going to go against the house install one key ring on each grommet.
