It was nearly impossible to bottom out on sharp rocks under the pad from any height. And this was a great pad to have at my disposal.

On my computer the blue looked slightly turquoise. Closed cell foam on the top of the mad pad disperses the force of your fall into the open cell foam on the bottom.
